Being Extraordinary

What makes a leader extraordinary? Kevin Wilde, the Chief Learning Officer at General Mills identified two traits in researching his book Dancing with the Talent Stars. His findings parallel the results of other research in this area. The first skill he found in extraordinary leaders is the ability to provide clear, strategic direction. The second skill is the ability to take bold, decisive action. These two strategic behaviors differentiate the average leader from the transformational leader that creates extraordinary results.
